We Slept in our Bed!!!

So, we have had 2 nights in a row of Lily sleeping in her crib ALL night!!!! We spent about an hour the other night playing in her room, she has always liked being in there just not sleeping in there. That night she fell asleep in our bed and Jeff moved her in her bed around 10:00pm and she slept until 6:30!!! You would think that meant a good night sleep, but I think I got up and checked on her at least 4 times. LOL Anyway the following night she actually fell asleep in her bed, so we are making great progress :)

We also went to Fox Ridge State Park on Sunday, the weather was great and Lily had a great time playing outside, hopefully this will not be one of the State Parks closing on November 1.

Jeff and I also had our first date night since coming on with Lily which was almost 14 months ago!!! We went with a group from church to see the new movie called "Fireproof". Our town of 20,000 was originally not going to show the movie because they didn't not think there would be much interest but after several phone calls I am thrilled to say that ALL showings SOLD out. If you have a chance to see it please go, it was a wonderful movie on relationships and how God can bring any relationship closer together.

Oh those sleep victories are AWESOME! After almost 2 years...Dori sleeps very well now. No naps, but good at night!

Love the photos...especially the one of her crawling in the grass!

I LOVE sleep! We went through some on and off sleep issues with Lindsey until she was 3 1/2 but now she is an awesome sleeper. Allison is better than Lindsey ever was but she doesn't always sleep all night. She's not too bad though and we're getting more than adequate amounts of sleep.

Love the collection of pics! What a cutie! She looks so happy.

Congrats on having her sleep on her own! Olivia sleeps 10-12 hours a night, thankfully. Lily's room is so cute!

Oh, yay about the bed situation! Hey, can I send my 2 your way and you can help them figure out the whole "sleep in their own bed" thing? I am willing to bet my hubby would pay big $ to anyone who gets them out of HIS bed. lol!!

Oh, I really want to see that movie....I am hoping we can possibly go this week-end.

take care!

Amy - What a cute bedroom/bed Lily has, but Lily is by far the cutest thing in the room! What a great smile she has! Congrats on getting her to sleep in her big girl bed!

Thanks for leaving a message on my blog. I've just got back into the blogging groove again since our move and had tons of photos to upload! We sure miss IL and our friends there. We liked the area so much we might move back in 5 years! :) - Kelly

Cute pictures! Lily is precious! Isn't it funny how badly we want them to sleep in their own beds, but when they do, we worry about them and wonder if everything is ok? Both of our girls start out in their own beds, but somehow manage to find their way into ours EVERY night.
What a cute room! Love the walls.
